Steve Reiss is a retired partner at Weil, Gotshal & Manges and a member of the board of the Innocence Project. He also serves on the board of Modern States Education Alliance, an organization working to make college education more affordable and accessible.

Steve joined the Reconciliation League because he views deepening polarization as a threat to civil society and the healthy functioning of democracy. He believes progress depends on our ability to communicate with and understand those with opposing views and to engage in thoughtful, good-faith dialogue.

Through the Reconciliation League, Steve hopes to help prepare the next generation of leaders to bridge differences, navigate disagreement, and advance societal well-being.
